 今日の抄読会で、山岸先生が「Prevalence of Excessive
Tearing in Women With Early Breast Cancer Receiving Adjuvant Docetaxel-Based
Chemotherapy. J Clin Oncol. 2013 May 6. 」を読んでくれました。ドセタキセルの涙は、海外では有名な話だったのですね。主旨とは異なるのですが、この論文で最も印象に残ったのは「Given that this was an observational, prospective study, no formal sample-size calculation was performed.」です。観察研究の前向き試験に使えるフレーズです。
