アリムタ維持療法

先週の抄読会です。私は不在だったのですが、中川先生が「Assessment of interfering factors and clinical risk associated with discontinuation of pemetrexed maintenance therapy in advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer. Lung Cancer. 2017;111:43-50.」を読みました。本論文ではペメトレキセドの維持療法220例の中央値は4回で範囲は1–30回でしたので、maxでも2年ぐらいでしょうか。継続群は132例、増悪以外の中止群は88例、毒性中止35/88 (39.8%)の他に、通院困難17.0％、高治療費13.6％、患者の嗜好26.1％がありました。ペメトレキセドが効いているので3年～5年の維持療法をしている人もいますが、寛解中だと中止する決断には勇気がいります。
