With Advanced Cancer.」を抄読してくれました。cancer-related fatigueに対してデカドロン8 mg/dayか偽薬を2週間続ける比較試験です。day 15には、Functional Assessment of Chronic
Illness-Fatigueで評価したQOLと、Edmonton Symptom Assessment Scale で評価した身体的な苦痛は改善されるようです。短期的ではありますが、cancer-related fatigueに対するステロイドの有効性を示した初めての試験です。日常臨床に役立ちそうです。
